Olive received the annual Business Sphere Award (2004-2005) for its outstanding SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) services and e-business solutions that help enterprises gain the IT edge. On the occasion of its 12th anniversary, Business Sphere, a New Delhi-based monthly, had selected some 30 leading business organisations for exceptional achievements and corporate excellence. Team Olive was a part of the “Glory League” and our directors, Mr. Dipin Kapur & Mr. Neeraj Jalan, were invited to receive the prestigious award. The capable captains of the winning companies were honoured at a glittering awards ceremony, held at the Kautilya Hall of Hotel Samrat in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, on November 30. The trophies were presented by Mr E.V.K.S. Elangovan, Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry. Mr. Haroon Yusaf, Minister for Transport & Energy, and Mr. Arvinder Singh Lovely, Minister for Education & Tourism (Delhi Govt.), were the guests of honour.

The gala evening saw the distinguished guests gather at the elegant venue and cheer enthusiastically while the chief guest and the guests of honour lighted the ceremonial lamp. Next came the welcome address by Mr. G. R. Khattar, editor-in-chief of Business Sphere, and it truly reflected the spirit of the occasion – recognition of the best in the industry. Speeches by the Honourable Ministers also reflected the mantra of surviving a tough market and cornering the glory. The awards were then bestowed by Mr. Elangovan who wished the winners success in all their ventures. A vote of thanks by the BS senior editor Mr. Amitabh Srivastava brought the event to a fitting close. It was, indeed, a memorable evening and Team Olive is proud of the honours conferred upon the organisation.
